The footage and firkin is an old picture house on Oxford Rd, Manchester. Today, it is a student pub but it still retains many charming features from another time, both inside and out.

Taken in Istanbul in 2004. This shot shows the Blue Mosque, Istanbul. The Blue Mosque gets its name from the blue tiles that adorn its roof. They come from Izmir, I believe.

IFC – This black and white photograph was taken in 2005. I am told that since then, another IFC has been built but for a time this was the tallest building in Hong Kong.
When I was younger I remember reading On The Road by Jack Kerouac and always imagined what Times Square was like. Originally the square was known as Longacre Square but was renamed after the New York Times moved into the square in 1904.
