End Of Wall Street – New York City

14 03 2011

Apparently Wall Street gets its name because it was where the Wall used to stand for the end of Manhattan. As time progressed, more and more of the island was consumed by building. Anyone who has been to New York will realise that this must have been early on in the development of the city as the area from the tip of Manhattan to Wall Street is tiny.

The flat iron building is one of New York’s most iconic buildings. Its proper name is the Fuller building and it was constructed in 1902. At this time it was one of New York’s tallest buildings.

Apparently Central Park attracts 25 million visitors a year. Yet inside the park, you can find space and peace in the middle of New York.
