This photograph was taken from Montmartre looking over Paris towards the Eiffel Tower. It was pretty misty up there that day and I liked th way you could only just make out the Eiffel Tower in the mist.

The Moulin Rouge – or Red Windmill – is located in Pigalle, Paris. I shot this just after dusk. I have been mooching around Montmartre for most of the day and returned to Pigalle on my way home.

Arc De Triomphe, Paris
During the Second World War when Paris was under German occupation, the German’s used to enjoy regularly parading under the Arc De Triomphe as a way of rubbing the beaten Parisiens’ nose in it. This shot shows the intricate detail of the monument.

I liked the look of these after printing and thought that they complimented each other well. Then again, I don’t think you can go wrong with Paris and Venice.
