About this print
All my fine art photos are printed using the finest quality Hahnemuhle 308gsm Fine Art Photographic paper. This paper is the choice of industry professionals the world over. The paper has a quality matte finish that captures every nuance of tone. Each print is of museum archival quality which means it will not fade and should maintain its original tones for 200+ years. You can read more about the paper used by following this link to Hahnemuhle's website.
Each print is signed and dated by me in the bottom right hand corner. I write the name of the print in the bottom left hand corner.
Matting
All my photos are available unmatted and matted. Matting refers to the protective surround that a print should be mounted on before it is framed. By matting photos, the print is kept away from the glass once framed and so heat/moisture transfer from the glass to the print is avoided. Matting helps to prolong the longevity of the print whilst also giving aesthetic benefits to the photograph. Put simply, a matted print looks much more pleasing on the eye than the unmatted counterpart. I mount all my matted photos on a hinged backboard with the mat then placed over the top. More details on matting can be found here.Should you require any further assistance on the matting of photos, please contact me.
I offer photos both matted and unmatted so that the customer has the choice. Matted photos are bulkier and so need to be carefully packaged when shipping. Unmatted photos are shipped rolled up in a card board tube. Personally, I would recommend that you allow me to mat your order. I can then ensure that your purchase is ready to frame as soon as you receive it.
Packaging and Delivery
All my photos are shipped in secure packaging. I go to great lengths to ensure that your print arrives looking as fantastic as it did when it left my studio. Larger unmatted photos are packaged in a cardboard tube. Everthing else is shipped flat in appropriately sized, robust cardboard boxes.
I currently offer two delivery prices. For bulkier photos, I ship the items via a courier (usually DHL). A tracking reference is sent to you shortly after the item has been paid for and you can track your order online. I have shipped photos to most parts of the globe and can usually get an order to a customer within 5 working days, if not sooner.
Smaller items are sent via the Royal Mail/Local mail carriers. These items usually arrive within 10 working days. I can ship small items via courier if you require it.

M A Andrew - A little bit about the photographer
I have been passionate about photography since I was a child and set this site up as a vehicle to showcase my work in 2002. I am largely self - taught and have spent more hours than I care to remember on experimentation and looking for that special image. Whilst this site has allowed me the opportunity to make money from my photographs, I would still be shooting photographs without it anyway. Photography is like that. I live in Manchester, England.

" Limited Edition Black and White Photography. These photographs are limited to 50 prints. Each one is hand signed by M A Andrew, numbered (out of 50) and offered with a matting option (20 x 24 inch mat) Each print is approximately 16 x 12 inches in size. The images displayed here capture life across the globe from Marrakesh, Rio De Janeiro, Hong Kong, Istanbul. The scarcity of these prints make them an exclusive, collectable piece of fine art photography. Finally, $28 from each limited edition print sold is donated to Cystic Fibrosis Trust in memory of Chris and Catherine Andrew

"'Tough' meant it was an uncompromising image, something that came from your gut, out of instinct, raw, of the moment, something that couldn t be described in any other way. So it was tough. Tough to like, tough to see, tough to make, tough to understand. The tougher they were the more beautiful they became.
