Photographs include images of Central Park, The Statue of Liberty, The Empire State Building, as well as many New York Street Scenes The Chrysler building in all its splendour and the majestic Grand Central Station are two of my personal favourite places in New York
Paris - A beautiful city
If you were given a blank piece of paper and asked to design the perfect city from scratch, Paris would be it. Avenue after avenue of beautiful buildings - it feels impossible to take a bad photograph in this setting. I spent a lot of time around and below Sacre Coeur. The Pigalle area fascinates, with its fading history there visible on the streets. There are four galleries of black and white photography on this site showcasing the whole of Paris from the Eiffel Tower, Places Des Vosges.
and The Moulin Rouge to Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame and the Parisien Underground.
Venice is beautiful. From the majesty of St Marks Square to the simplest detail found in the motifs of the many gondolas. I have two black and white photography galleries of images from this Italian city. Many of the photographs taken here are from the beginning of the day before the hordes of tourists arrive and swarm everywhere from the Doges Palace to the Grand Canal.
Hong Kong draws you in with its vibrancy. After two or three nights in this city, the place seems to pump through your veins. An invigorating, intoxicating mix that leaves you feeling alive and overwhelmed at the same time. However, delve a little deeper than the bright lights of Wan Chai, The Peak or the Star Ferry and the place reveals a deeper side. Places like Stanley Harbour or the lazy beaches of Big Wave Bay, Repulse Bay and Deep Water Bay surprise and soothe. The colonial history is evident throughout Hong Kong and keeps drawing me back. Rio De Janeiro is a unique city. The black and white photography in this gallery tries to capture the vibrancy of this buzzing metropolis from Corcovado Peak to Sugar Loaf Mountain, from the famous Copacabana beach to Ipanema.
Marrakesh is unique. A blend of the new and the old. The citys history can be traced back more than a thousand years. The black and white photography in this gallery includes the Square of the Dead - Djemaa el-Fna - a bustling meeting point in the heart of the city, La Koutoubia Minaret, The Bazaars and more.
Istanbul is a city with a great deal of history. From the beautiful Blue Mosque to the magnificence of the Ayia Sophia, the citys beauty is obvious. Formerly known as Constantinople, Istanbul continues to thrive and bustle in a completely unique way. The black and white photography in this gallery aims to capture the unique geographical location of Istanbul, a gateway between east and west.
